This guide will walk you through the steps to locate your internet router’s IP address.
You can connect to your router in two ways:
🔹 Wirelessly – If you're using your home WiFi, you're already connected. 🔹 Wired (Ethernet Cable) – For a direct connection, use an Ethernet cable (see guide).
This step might seem technical, but it’s actually straightforward. In many cases, your router’s IP address is already printed on the device itself.
🔹 Check Your Router – Look for a label on your router that displays either:
IP Address – The number listed is your router’s address.
IP Address URL – Enter this URL into your web browser to view the router’s IP.
🔹 Search Online – If the information isn’t printed on your router, try searching:
"[Your Router Model] default IP" in a search engine.
🔹 Find It on Your Device – If you can’t locate it online, you can retrieve it through your device’s operating system (see instructions below).
🔍 Understanding IP Addresses Your router has two IP addresses:

Private (LAN IP) – Used within your home network to access router settings.
