Read this article for a quick overview of the on mobile device App.

1. HomePage

When you first log in to or open the HomeAware App, you'll see two important features:

1. A representation of who is or isn't home, based on the profiles you've created
2. The TimeMachine scroll bar

2. Time Machine Scroll bar

The Time Machine scroll bar allows you to replay the main entry and exit events from the past week.

3. Activity Tab - Timeline

The Activity Tab provides a day-by-day view of who has entered and exited your home. By default, it shows today's timeline. Tapping the calendar allows you to view activity for any day within the past month.

4. Activity Tab - Activities

This nested tab serves as an Alert Feed. It displays a list of activity cards with precise timestamps.

The alerts you'll see here mirror the Push Notifications you receive when you're not logged into the app. These include:

• Enter

• Exit

• New Phone Connected

• Unassigned Device

• Sensor Online/Offline

  

  Certain HomeAware Integrations also receive what we call Passive Alerts—information gathered about devices within your network's vicinity that haven't necessarily connected directly to the network.

  • Something Interesting
    • A device attempting to connect to an unknown Bluetooth source
    • A device attempting to connect to an unknown Wi-Fi source
    • A new phone brand entering your network vicinity
  • Something Unexpected
    • Security: An unfamiliar device showing unusually high activity on or near your network
    • Counter Anomaly: More phones than usual detected around your network

  Each alert card is tappable, providing an Alert Recap—an overview of that specific time snapshot.

5. Profile Tab

The Profile tab serves as a directory of all profiles created for your account.

Profiles are listed alphabetically, and you can use the search bar to filter them. Presence is easily detectable through color versus monochrome icons.

Profiles without assigned devices display a purple ring, and a small counter appears on the Profile tab to indicate these unassigned profiles.

To add new profiles, simply tap the icon in the top right corner.

• You can easily import from your device's contact list, add photos from your camera roll, or manually enter the desired information.
• Device assignment can be done via QR code (with both devices connected to the same network) or through MAC Address lookup in the device list.

6. More Tab

General control panel tab where you have access to:

• Editing user and home details
• HomeAware system information
• Inventory of all devices ever connected to your network
• Customer support forms
• This knowledge base and our privacy policy
