If you’re having trouble finding your device in the HomeAware app, make sure the sensor and your device are connected to the same network. This article will explain how to check which network your phone is currently connected to.

Step 1

Open your Android phone to its Home Screen. Select Settings.

Step 2

From the Settings page, select Connections to navigate to the WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular settings.

Step 3

From here, you should see a Wi-Fi tab at the top with a toggle switch next to it. Make sure the toggle is turned on.

If your phone is connected to a network, the name of the network will be listed below. Wi-Fi.

If not, tap on Wi-Fi.

Step 4

If you are connected to a network, the name will be shown here under Current network. If not, select a network from the list of Available networks below.
