If you’re having trouble finding your device in the HomeAware app, make sure the sensor and your device are connected to the same network. This article will explain how to check which network your phone is currently connected to.

Step 1

Open your Android phone to its Home Screen. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open up the drop-down menu.

Step 2

Next, tap the Settings button at the top right-hand corner of the screen (it looks like a gear).

Step 3

From here, tap Connections to navigate to the WiFi network settings.

Step 4

At the top of this screen, you will see an item that says Wi-Fi with a toggle button next to it. Make sure the toggle is turned on. When WiFi is on, the toggle button will appear blue. You can also see the name of the network that your device is connected to under Wi-Fi.
