If you’re having trouble finding your device in the HomeAware app, make sure the sensor and your device are connected to the same network. This article will explain how to check which network your phone is currently connected to.

Step 1

Open up your iPhone to its Home Screen. Select the Settings icon to open up your iPhone’s Settings menu.

Once in the Settings menu, tap Wi-Fi. This will take you to your WiFi network settings.

At the top of this screen, you will see an item that says Wi-Fi with a toggle button next to it. Make sure the toggle is turned on. When WiFi is on, the toggle button will appear green. The name displayed under this toggle is the name of the network your iPhone is currently connected to.
