Sometimes you may want to delete devices from the HomeAware Mobile app.
If your account has duplicate devices that might have been generated from a phone’s Private Address feature, it’s a good idea to delete the extras.

If Devices exist in profiles that are no longer in use or haven’t been present in a very long time.
<aside> ℹ️ Example: Someone in your family lost their phone during a vacation, and now has a new phone. The older phone may still appear as the primary device on the profile, but will never be present again.

Deleting a device from the app will erase any data connections the sensor has made to that device. This includes any device metadata, profile assignment, and presence history.
Follow the steps in this article to delete devices.
Step 1
Open the app to the Home Page and tap the More
tab at the bottom right-hand corner.
Step 2
Next, tap Devices
from the menu to navigate to the list of all devices your sensor has detected.
Step 3
From here, tap the device that you would like to delete. This will take you to that device’s details page.
Step 4
Next, tap the three vertical dots
in the top right-hand corner. A menu will pop up at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5
Tap Edit device
from this menu.
Step 6
Next, tap Delete Device
. This will trigger a pop-up asking if you are sure that you’d like to delete this device.
Step 7
To complete this process, select Delete
from the pop-up window.
From here, you will be re-routed back to your device list page. The device should now be deleted.
