This article will demonstrate how to disable private addresses on an iPhone.

Step 1

Tap the Settings app on your iWatch.

Step 2

Tap Wi-Fi.

Step 3

Tap on your home’s WiFi network.

Step 4

Tap the toggle next to Private Address.

Step 5

You will receive a prompt. Tap Disconnect.

Note: You will be automatically reconnected to your WiFi network.

Step 6

Notice that Private Address has been turned off.   Note: This device is now using its hardware WiFi MAC address on your home network. Learn how to find a device’s real MAC address here.
