This article will demonstrate how to disable Private Address on an iPhone.

  1. Tap the Settings app on your iPhone.

  1. Tap on Wi-Fi.

  1. Tap on the (i) icon to view additional details.

  1. Tap the toggle next to Private Address.

  1. You will see a prompt. Tap Continue. Note: You will be automatically disconnected and reconnected to your WiFi network.

  1. Notice Private Address has been turned off for this network. Note: This device is now using its hardware WiFi MAC address on your home network.
